On the second day of Zephyrus 7.0, a series of exciting technical and creative events are lined up to challenge the skills, knowledge, and imagination of participants.
Event 1: Ideathon
An innovation-driven event where participants brainstorm and present unique solutions to real-world challenges. It emphasizes creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
Rules

This is an individual event (no teams allowed). Open to all UG and PG students.

All participants are required to bring their own laptop/system for the competition.

Participants must complete the task within the allotted time.

Any software may be used to create the presentation.

Participants must submit their work in the given format and to the designated email address before the deadline.

- All ideas remain the intellectual property of the participants, but may be used for event promotions with consent.

Event 2: Coding and Debugging
A technical coding challenge where participants solve programming problems and identify & fix bugs in given code snippets. It sharpens logical reasoning and coding efficiency.
Rules
- The competition consists of two rounds: a Debugging Challenge and a Coding Challenge.
- All exercises will use both Python and C programming languages; participants must have knowledge of at least one.
- To ensure fairness, all participants will be strictly monitored, and any form of malpractice, including the use of electronic devices, will not be tolerated and will result in immediate disqualification.
- The Debugging Challenge (Round 1) has a 20-minute time limit. Participants are ranked by marks, with time as the tie-breaker.

The Coding Challenge (Round 2) has a 30-minute time limit. Final rankings are based on the speed and accuracy of completing this round.

Event 3: Hardware Assembling
A practical event where participants showcase their technical expertise in assembling and configuring computer hardware components. It highlights hands-on IT skills.
Rules & Guidelines
- Open to High School, UG, and PG regular students.
- A valid ID card is required for participation.
- Team size: 1–2 participants (both members must be from the same institution).
- All tools and components will be provided during the event.
- No external help or internet access is allowed.
- Mishandling or breaking any components will lead to immediate disqualification.
- The decision of the judges will be final and binding.

Event 4: Digital Painting
A creative event combining photography and art. Participants use long-exposure techniques with light sources to produce stunning visual effects, blending imagination with technology.
Rules
- The theme will be given on the spot.
- Participants must complete the artwork within 2 hours.
- Only mouse can be used for drawing (no stylus, pen tablets, or touch devices).
- Only digital tools/software are allowed.
- Use of AI-generated art, stock images, or pre-made assets is strictly prohibited.
- Internet use during the event is not allowed (unless specifically permitted for references).
- Artwork must be original and created during the event.

Event 5: Conclave
A panel discussion and interactive session where experts and professionals share insights on current trends, innovations, and challenges in technology and society. It provides participants with valuable knowledge and perspectives.
1. Code of Conduct
- Be punctual — arrive before the session begins.
- Dress formally or as per the dress code.
- Show respect to speakers, panelists, and fellow participants.
2. Participation Etiquette
- Listen attentively without interrupting.
- Speak only when permitted (during Q&A or interactive sessions).
- Keep questions short, clear, and relevant.
- Avoid side conversations or distractions (like phone use).
3. Professional Interaction
- Address others politely and formally.
- Exchange ideas respectfully, even if you disagree.
- Acknowledge others’ contributions before adding your point.
4. Time Management
- Stick to allocated speaking time if presenting.
- Avoid long or off-topic discussions.
5. Confidentiality & Integrity
- Do not misrepresent facts or data.
- Respect any confidentiality clause (if the conclave has closed-door sessions).

Event 6: Hackathon
A coding and problem-solving marathon where teams develop software solutions, applications, or prototypes within a limited time. It tests creativity, collaboration, and technical skills.
Rules & Guidelines
- Each team must have 3 to 4 participants.
- All teams must bring their own laptops and required accessories.
- Internet will be provided during the event.
- Ideas must be novel and original — plagiarized or pre-existing work is not allowed.
- All work (code, design, and solutions) must be developed entirely during the hackathon.
Event Format

Preliminary Round (Day 1):
All teams will participate. Eliminations will be based on performance. -
Final Round (Day 2):
Selected teams from the prelims will advance to the finals and compete for top positions.

- Food and accommodation will not be provided by the organizers.
- Participants must respect fellow participants, mentors, and volunteers.
Any misconduct will not be tolerated. -
