Inauguration Ceremony
The first day of Zephyrus 7.0 will begin with a grand Inauguration Ceremony, marking the official commencement of the techno-cultural fest. Distinguished guests, faculty members, and student representatives will grace the occasion with motivational speeches and lighting of the lamp.

Event 1: Paper Presentation

A platform where participants present innovative research ideas, projects, and case studies on trending technologies and scientific advancements. It aims to encourage knowledge-sharing and enhance presentation skills.
Guidelines
- The presentation can be either a research paper or an innovative idea.
- Open only to high school and higher secondary school students (Grades 8–12).
- Participants may compete individually or in teams of two.
- Registration must be completed before the deadline.
- Valid school ID cards are mandatory for participation.
- Presentations must have a maximum of 10 slides.

Event 2: Hackathon

A coding and problem-solving marathon where teams develop software solutions, applications, or prototypes within a limited time. It tests creativity, collaboration, and technical skills.
Rules & Guidelines
- Each team must have 3 to 4 participants.
- All teams must bring their own laptops and required accessories.
- Internet will be provided during the event.
- Ideas must be novel and original — plagiarized or pre-existing work is not allowed.
- All work (code, design, and solutions) must be developed entirely during the hackathon.

Preliminary Round (Day 1):
All teams will participate. Eliminations will be based on performance. -
Final Round (Day 2):
Selected teams from the prelims will advance to the finals and compete for top positions.
Additional Information
- Food and accommodation will not be provided by the organizers.
- Participants must respect fellow participants, mentors, and volunteers.
Any misconduct will not be tolerated. -

Event 3: AI vs Human

AI vs Human is a fun and engaging team competition where each team of two players must identify whether a given question is generated by Artificial Intelligence or by a human. The game challenges observation, intuition, and teamwork while highlighting the fascinating similarities between human creativity and AI
Rules
- Open to UG and PG regular students.
- Each team will have 2 members.
- No inter-team communication allowed during rounds.
- Points are awarded only for correct identifications.
- In case of a tie, a bonus round/tiebreaker will decide the winner.

Event 4: AR Treasure Hunt

A thrilling treasure hunt that integrates Augmented Reality (AR) clues. Participants use mobile apps to find virtual hints placed around the campus and solve riddles to reach the final treasure.
Rules
- Open to UG and PG regular students
- A valid ID card is required for participation
- Participants can register teams of 2 (members must be from the same college)
- All participants must bring an Android phone
- Participants should ensure they have their own mobile data (college network will not be provided)
- Participants should bring their own mobile chargers
- Additional rules and regulations will be communicated at the time of the event and must be followed

Event 5: Web Page Designing

The flagship event of Day 1, where participants design and develop creative, responsive, and functional web pages. It focuses on innovation in UI/UX, coding efficiency, and problem-solving skills.
Rules:
1. Eligibility
- Open to students from all years and branches.
- Participation can be individual or in teams of up to 2 members.
2. Theme & Content
- The theme will be given on the spot or shared in advance (as decided by the organizers).
- Designs must be original and not copied from existing templates.
- Use of copyrighted images is not allowed unless from royalty-free sources.
3. Time Limit
- Total time for designing: 1–2 hours.
- Late submissions will not be evaluated.
4. Tools & Resources
- Participants may use:
- Figma, Adobe XD, Photoshop, Illustrator, or other UI/UX tools
- Online color palette generators and royalty-free image resources (e.g., Unsplash, Pexels)
- Pre-made website templates are strictly prohibited.
- Internet access may be restricted to asset download only (as per event rules).
5. Judging Criteria
- Marks will be awarded based on:
- Creativity & Aesthetics – Layout, color harmony, visual appeal
- Theme Relevance – How well the design reflects the given topic
- User Experience (UX) – Ease of navigation, readability, accessibility
- Consistency – Uniform styles, spacing, and typography
- Innovation – Unique and fresh design concepts
6. Submission Guidelines
- Submit the final design file (e.g.,
.fig,.xd,.psd,.ai) along with exported images/PDFs. - Ensure the design is properly organized with named layers and components.
- If presenting, explain the design choices briefly to the judges.
7. Disqualification Criteria
- Using downloaded website UI kits or templates without modification.
- Plagiarism or copying another participant’s work.
- Misconduct or argument with organizers/judges.
